Renuka obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 1998. She obtained her clinical experience while working a number of years in both the hospital setting and private practice. She is also a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, as well as their oncology division.
Since completing her university education, Renuka has pursued post-graduate courses in manual therapy, gait training and orthotic casting, and McKenzie concepts. She is currently involved in oncologic rehabilitation courses. She has extensive experience working with clients following orthopaedic surgery, repetitive strain injuries, sports injuries, injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident, as well as clients suffering from acute and chronic neck and back pain. She also has a keen interest in providing oncologic rehabilitation which includes restoring function, reducing pain and disability, increasing endurance and mobility, and ultimately improving the quality of life.
Outside of work, Renuka has a passion for music and singing. She spends most of her time with her two young children, but when time permits, she loves to travel and stay active. Whatever the goal, Renuka strives to help people participate in happy, active lifestyles.
